1. Who we are
ApasAstro (apasastro.com) is run by Apas Learning Pvt Ltd ("we", "us"), which decides how your personal data is used on this site. Your account is an Apas account shared with our other sites; this policy describes what ApasAstro does with your data.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only in hashed form), and a mobile number if you choose to add one.
- Birth details: for each birth profile you save, a label, the date, time and place of birth, with its latitude, longitude and time zone. These may be your own or those of family members you add.
- Life events: events you record against a profile, such as a marriage or a change of work, with their dates and your notes.
- Questions, chats and reports: what you write to Apas Astro AI, its answers, and the reports you order.
- Payments: your wallet balance and a record of each top-up, charge and refund. Card, UPI and bank details are entered with Razorpay and never reach our servers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type and server logs, kept for security and to find faults.
- Messages to us: email and what you send through the contact form.
A visitor who is not signed in can draw a chart without an account. The birth details entered are sent to our server to calculate the chart and are not saved to an account.
Birth details and what you tell us about your life can be sensitive. We use them only to calculate charts and prepare the readings you ask for.
3. How we use it
- To calculate charts, dashas and the other tools, and to prepare the answers and reports you ask for.
- To take payments, run your wallet and subscription, and send receipts and renewal reminders.
- To send account email: sign-up and password codes, security notices, and notices about your purchases. You can switch optional notices off in your dashboard.
- To answer support requests and complaints.
- To keep the service secure and to meet our obligations under Indian law, including tax law.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. We may publish study of astrological rules using charts of public figures; private users' charts are not used for this.
4. Who else processes your data

Your browser also loads fonts and icons from Google Fonts and jsDelivr, which see your IP address as any website does. If you open Google Maps from the birth place form, Google's own terms apply there.
Our application and database servers are in India. Where data goes to a provider outside India, it is sent only for the purpose stated above.
5. Cookies and storage in your browser
ApasAstro does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It keeps a few items in your browser's local storage: your sign-in session, the chosen theme and text size, and which birth profile is active. Clearing your browser's site data removes them and signs you out. Razorpay may set its own cookies while its payment window is open.
6. How long we keep it
- Account details, birth profiles, life events, chats and reports: kept while your account exists, so that you can return to them. You can delete a birth profile or a life event yourself at any time.
- Payment records: 8 years, as Indian tax law requires.
- Server logs: a limited period, for security and fault finding.
- When you ask us to delete your account, remaining personal data is removed within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep.
7. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may:
- ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased, subject to what the law requires us to keep;
- withdraw consent, where we rely on it;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights for you.
Write to privacy@apashub.com or to our Grievance Officer. We reply within 30 days.
8. Children
ApasAstro is meant for adults; an account holder must be 18 or older to buy anything. A parent may save a child's birth details in their own account. We do not knowingly allow children to open accounts on ApasAstro to make purchases; if you believe a child has done so, write to us and we will remove the data.
9. Security
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed, access to birth profiles, chats and reports is limited to the account that owns them, and payment details are handled only by Razorpay. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change, and will email registered users about changes that matter. The date at the top shows the current version.
